@Plymouth | A large scale wall build

A great couple of days were spent in the civil engineering labs starting our large scale wall build here at the University of Plymouth at the end of August.

Many thanks to all the CobBauge team especially François Streiff (PnrMCB) who patiently zoomed in on our activities to help us make sure the wall was built correctly.

This is the covid-19 postponed wall build to test the feasibility of detailing and eventually compressive load strength at the University of Plymouth UK. The materials used in the composite wall, hemp shiv, clay slip, flax straw, clay rich subsoil and aggregate, 20mm to dust.

Members of the CobBauge Team that present from Plymouth University were Steve Goodhew, Jim Carfrae, Kevin Owen, Matthew Fox and from Hudson Architects Matthew Griggs.
